Deeply rooted and inspired by the above bible verse from St. Mark’s Gospel, the Saint Mark Foundation of the Markarian Family was born. The mission of our nonprofit organization is to raise funds and employ charitable, multidisciplinary endeavors for the most destitute and underprivileged of today’s society.
Having witnessed firsthand the dire poverty of children throughout the world, such as in the Sisters of Charity - Bethlehem Orphanage in Yerevan, Armenia and beyond; or the need for investment in adequate infrastructure for classrooms, living spaces, heating/air conditioning systems, and school supplies — the Saint Mark Foundation aims to bestow these essential services for the benefit of the youth and their education. We also hope to sponsor many college students in pursuit of their goals for higher learning.
Furthermore, we plan to renovate elderly homes and assisted living communities, providing them with the appropriate facility renovations, and proper medical equipment and medications to improve quality of living and the treatment of various diseases.
These are just some of the methods in which we plan to spread our mission across the world. We believe wholeheartedly in our purpose; and we hope you will join us in our journey in offering what we can, with the gifts bestowed upon us by the grace of the Good Lord, to those less fortunate than ourselves — for “the measure you give will be the measure you get, and still more will be given you…”
